Mini Golf rules
Brief overview
As a rule, mini Golf is popular with those who are looking for entertainment in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. It also exists as a more serious competitive sport in various professional leagues. And there are a lot of families, teenagers and couples around the world playing like Golf experts.
Preparing for the game
To play mini Golf you do not need anything supernatural. All you need is clubs and balls, which are always in abundance on any mini-Golf course. Each site is unique and not like the others. This applies to the design and location of the holes on the field. According to the world sports Federation of mini Golf, obstacles on the mini Golf course must be secured for the convenience of the game. But should not be completely insurmountable, because then the game loses its meaning.
The goal of the game
In mini Golf, as in regular Golf, the game is played on a field with 18 holes (holes in the ground). Each hole is marked and numbered for ease of play. Players make strikes on the ball, following the numbering of the holes, not missing anything. Players use the same clubs as for traditional Golf, and knock the ball into the hole right out of the “t”zone. The aim of the game is to drive the ball into the hole with the least number of strokes. The total number of strokes in the game in one hole should not exceed seven. The winner is the player with the fewest innings.
Finishing touch
According to the world sports Federation of mini-Golf, before each hit the ball must come into contact with the stick, which is held with both hands. Accidental contact with the ball does not count as a serve. Admissible only to those filing in which a player makes a swing. If after the first strike, the ball did not cross the red line or the line of the field boundary, the player should repeat the feed from the “tee” zone. If the ball crosses the boundary line and bounces into the out-of-play area, the player will be fined and will make the next pitch from the place where the ball went out of the field.
